The Loseke Family’s Relocation Journey

Our promise to our partners goes beyond finding them the best deal on the perfect property. Our goal is to act as true partners and serve as your go-to real estate team for years to come. What does that really mean?

Here’s the Loseke family’s story.

Chapter I: The Big Move

In the fall of 2022, the Losekes had just relocated their family business, Midwest Barrel Company, from Nebraska to Louisville, and now it was time to transplant their family.
Without any ties to Louisville, they knew they needed more than a real estate agent – they needed a comrade to show them the local lifestyle. Having a personal relationship with their Nebraska real estate agent, they were also keen to find a local ally who understood them, could be candid with them and would advocate for them. With big shoes to fill, Pluris’s residential specialist, Jordan King, eagerly stepped up when a friend referred the Losekes to her.

Becoming a stranger in an unfamiliar city is daunting, but Jordan quickly took them under her wing and helped them find more than just a cozy family home.

After building their dream home back in Nebraska only a short time ago, the Losekes were weary of what the perfect home would look like for them in Louisville. With a quickly approaching move, they knew they needed a comfortable place to land for the time being, and Jordan found a spacious ranch house in Lyndon. Soon after, the perfect home for them hit the market. Now that the Loseke’s knew the community and felt settled into their new life, they happily packed the U-haul and moved a few minutes down the road to settle down in their dream home. The Lyndon home was used to welcome visiting employees for a short time before it was sold for a 5.4% profit in 2023.

“Jordan's exceptional ability to connect and make introductions truly impressed us. She went above and beyond, helping us settle into our new community by introducing us to schools, businesses, and friends. Her efforts made our relocation much easier and more enjoyable.”

Chapter II: Residential Advisors become Commercial Advisors

While the Losekes were busy planting their family’s roots locally, their business was equally in need of a commercial brokerage partner. Midwest Barrel Company was stationed in a temporary industrial space, but the swiftly expanding operation needed a more efficient building with additional specs to accommodate its growth.
With local expertise and an eye for prime real estate, Pluris’s commercial real estate team jumped in, and in 6 weeks, Midwest Barrel Company had found a new home base that would enable the brand to grow. Midwest Barrel’s operations required 30,000-50,000 sq ft of industrial space, which is limited in Louisville’s market. Pluris identified a new to the market sublease opportunity at a competitive rental rate that enabled a seamless transition.
Soon after, the company’s team was expanding as swiftly as its operations, and they needed a new office space to foster collaboration and inspire innovation. 118 E Main, located a stone's throw away from Whiskey Row, became the ideal backdrop for this Bourbon barrel brand.

“Austin stands out as the most responsive and efficient broker we’ve ever partnered with. His approach goes beyond simply finding spaces; he invests time to thoroughly understand our business requirements, growth objectives, and unique needs. What truly sets Austin apart is his ability to make the entire process smooth and effortless. His expertise and dedication have made him an invaluable asset to our relocation and expansion efforts”

Chapter III: Real Estate Partners for Life

Pluris not only helped the Losekes make personal connections in the community, our team introduced them to our network of business relationships that would propel Midwest Barrel Company into the growth it's experiencing today. From joint venture partners to financial advisors, Midwest Barrel quickly became a known name among Louisville business leaders.

For the Loseke’s, Pluris is more than just a group of real estate agents – we’re their real estate partners.
With local connections and market knowledge, a commitment to mutual respect and care for our partners, and a diligent and agile approach to business, we gained the Loseke family’s trust and continue to support their real estate and personal endeavors.
Since helping them relocate into their first Louisville home, we’ve found them their dream home in their dream neighborhood, supported the relocation of their employees and their families, and are currently working to find new industrial and office space to meet Midwest Barrel Company’s evolving needs.

The Pluris team has earned our trust and business for years to come. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for real estate agents who are knowledgeable, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to help their clients.
